We have no openings left for the dates of Dec20-Dec31st. Please call if you would like to be put on the call list as I do get cancelations.

What you as a owner can do to make your dogs stay in a boarding facility a happy experience.

If there is one thing I can tell owners that are boarding their dogs for the first time is to not feel like they are putting them in prison. Make it a happy experience when you drop them off. Seem excited like wow this is so cool!! Dogs will feed off your energy and if you come in with a negative energy the dog may feel that way to. You would be surprised how much of a difference that makes in their experience. You to as the owner will go away happier after the smiles and excitement.

Phone issues

If you have tried to contact us by phone within the last month or so and didnt get a call back after you left a message please call again. GPS does not get our address correctly

Just a FYI that gps does not get our address correctly it takes you way on the other side of town. Try using 154 780th st Jackson, MN or here are directions. Coming from the north on highway 71 go through town you will pass a ball field go around a curve to your right you will see a greenhouse and another curve. When you reach the curve you will see a old log cabin/vegetable stand the next right past there is county rd 34 west. You will see a sign that says Loon Lake golf course. Turn on county rd 34 and go about a mile we are the last place at the top of the hill. We have a grey house with a large brick barn with a white roof. The driveway will take you right to the kennel. If you go pastour house there is not another place on the north side of the road for over a mile. Coming from the south on 71 as you come into town you will go down the hill. County rd 34 west is at the bottom of the hill before the curve. You will see the old log cabin and take the left before the cabin. Hope this helps!! Remember you are getting directions from a woman who is horrible at directions so you can always call ;)

We have 2 kennels open due to cancellations over the 4th of July Holiday and weekend!

I have had a few cancellations so I have room in the kennel yet over the 4th of July weekend!!

Customer access

We really strive to make the kennel as accessible for everyone as we can. With that comes some personal liability on my customers part.. We want to be able to continue the benefit to our customers of being convenient and accessible. Just to clarify if you go into the kennel area to bring your dog in or take it out you take on the risk and liability of getting hurt. If you do not want to take on that liability please call if I am not out there. Some basic rules are: If there is a dog running loose never open the door between the office and the kennel. Please don't attempt to pet the dogs through the kennels. Never let your dog in the outside run without clearing it with me first. There maybe dogs out there that do not do well with other dogs. The floor is often wet and slippery. We have wonderful customers and just want everyone to be safe!!!!

Grooming hours change

I am changing the grooming hours. With the nicer weather hopefully on its way, family time and the boarding kennel being so full I need to scale back some. I will be grooming Tues, Wed and Thurs evenings beginning at 5pm. I will no longer be doing any grooming on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays and will do some Monday evenings. I hope this doesn't cause too much inconvenience. I appreciate each and every one of my clients you are all great!!!!
